I make functional stoneware on the wheel and by hand — mugs, pitchers, vases, bowls, and seasonal ornaments — and sell it at local markets and by commission.
Each piece moves through the same process: throwing or building, carving and refining the surface, glazing, and firing. The small variations that show up along the way are part of what makes every piece its own.
Carved stoneware in a copper-red metallic glaze that breaks to gunmetal at the rims and along every ridge. These are the last of my Metallic collection.
